Fouts Angus
Our Story

The story of Fouts Angus dates back to 1968 when my great grandfather Howard Baker owned a hay and cattle ranch in Fallon, Nevada. There he ran Hereford cattle and grew alfalfa and wheat. My youngest memories of cattle stem from visiting the ranch and seeing my uncle and grandfather working cattle.

Flash forward a few decades my father retired and bought a ranch in Augusta, Montana. There he farmed hay and grain and had a small commercial cattle operation. Through a partnership with my father I purchased my first cattle.

In 1996 Fouts Angus officially began. I purchased my first registered Black Angus pair. In the last 27 years my goal has been to offer bulls that are structurally sound, fertile, and equipped to handle rugged terrain for the commercial operation.
